Shelter Meal Master or Rockstar Driver (age 5+) Referral
Human Solutions' Emergency Shelter Program includes three shelters for families with kids under 18 and adults identifying as women/non-binary/gender queer experiencing homelessness. These shelters are a temporary home for 220 people every night, about 80 of them children. We provide three meals a day, 365 days a year to all residents, and we depend on the community’s help to accomplish this!

We invest in affordable housing and community assets that contribute to strong, inclusive neighborhoods.

We advocate with our community for policies and investments that expand housing and economic opportunity, eliminate wealth inequality and end poverty.
Volunteers can help in several ways – on a regular or on-call basis:
1. Drive to pick-up and deliver food donations.
2. Prepare a hot dinner and deliver it.
3. Make sack lunches and deliver them.
You can choose to feed residents at either of our three shelters, each of which has a different number of residents and all are in East Portland:

Women/non-binary: 35 (Gresham)
