Transcribe OPB Programs for the American Archive (AAPB) (age 18+) Referral
Oregon Public Broadcasting's mission is to give voice to the community, connect Oregon and its neighbors and illuminate a wider world. What better way to fulfill this mission than to help make our programming easily searchable in the American Archive of Public Broadcasting? Your work will make the content easily found by a keyword search, as well as make OPB content easily consumable for those with disabilities.
This is a remote project transcribing Oregon Public Broadcasting content for the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. This is an effort to preserve programs as well as make the archive easier to search and more accessible. This work requires access to a computer, and can be done on your own time with no time requirement.
This opportunity is great for anyone who loves listening to NPR or watching PBS. There are hundreds of programs available to transcribe in the archive, choose which one you would like to learn about.
Please note OPB is unable to accomodate court ordered service.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
