Grocery Distribution Helper Needed - North Clackamas Schools (age 18+) Referral

Clackamas Service Center (CSC) is an inclusive "one-stop" community center for individuals and families seeking food relief and resources for improved health, dignity, and stability. CSC relies on a robust team of volunteers to connect our members to crucial services. Over 300 people volunteer at CSC each year, contributing over 8,000 hours in total. We truly couldn’t do this work without our amazing volunteers!

School Site Grocery Distribution helper needed: 
-Wednesday (set up  1:30pm) 2pm-3pm  Oak Grove Elementary
-Thursday (set up 1:30pm)  2:15pm-3pm Lot Witcomb Elementary

  • Minimum commitment 3 months

  • Available for one shift per week

  • Report to School Outreach Manager Celess Roman

  • Work alongside other CSC Staff 

  • Access to transportation to volunteer at school sites

  • Fully outdoor position

  • Dress appropriately for outdoor weather conditions

  • Duties include unloading/loading groceries from CSC food truck 

  • Setting up tables for grocery pickup and takedown

  • Keep a record of attendees

  • Must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination


Requested Skills/Desired Attributes:

  • Bilingual Spanish or Russian

  • Experience working in social services

  • Maintain physical distancing while volunteering, to the extent practicable

  • Wear a cloth or disposable face covering at all times while volunteering.
