Recycle and Refurbish Bicycles (age 13+) *MLK 2012*
Volunteers will get to learn to and expereince how to dismantle a bicycle to salvage reusable parts and recycle the metal, rubber and plastic parts! Sometimes we strip down old rusty wrecks for recylcing and othertimes we work on bikes that can be resold or given to someone in need. Join us for four hours of fun! This is great for families and friends.
Please wear clothing that can get dirty/greasy and no open toes shoes. We will provide all of the tools necessary, as well as latex free gloves.
The mission sof the WashCo BTC is to promote bicylce transportations, protect bicyclist' rights and improve bicycling conditions throughout Washington County, Oregon through education, advocacy and community.

Project Requirements:
- Please fill out this MLK Adult & Youth Waiver and bring it with you to the project. All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
- Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older to attend this project.
- If you plan to bring children or guests you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
