Support the Arts::PNCA/MoCC Gala Volunteers Needed!

Pacific Northwest College of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Craft’s Annual Gala will take place on Saturday, June 2. Help support MoCC’s & PNCA’s fundraising goals by volunteering for one of Portland’s most renowned events! We are seeking dedicated individuals to help in the following areas:
• Installation
• Gala Event Support
• After-Party Help
• Post-Event Clean-Up
Requirements: Passion for craft, art and creativity and an ability to work with the public. Ability to stand for 3 to 5 hours and lift 10-15 pounds. Appropriate formal attire for actual event shifts and appropriate informal attire for installation/clean-up shifts.
Experience: Gain volunteer experience and strengthen your resume.
Learn/Support: Two Portland Art institutions simultaneously!
Connect: Meet people that are excited and engaged in Portland’s art and cultural scene.
There is a mandatory orientation on May 30 from 7:00pm-8:30pm at PNCA. Express interest below and we’ll send you specific location information.

Shift Dates and Times:
Note: Food and beverages will be provided to all volunteers.
June 1
Gala Installation/10 am - 2pm
Possible installation of sculptural elements, chair/table/stage set-up. May involve heavy lifting. Comfortable shoes (no sandals) and clothing that can get dirty.
June 1
Gala Installation/2 pm - 6 pm
Possible installation of sculptural elements, chair/table/stage set-up. May involve heavy lifting. Comfortable shoes (no sandals) and clothing that can get dirty.
June 2
Gala Event/5 pm - 10 pm
Direct Gala attendees & provide information. Comfy shoes/formal cocktail attire is required.
June 2
Gala After-Hours Party/8 pm - 12:30 am
OLCC Card desireable. Must be over 21. Serving beverages, directing Gala attendees & providing information. Comfy shoes/formal cocktail attire is required.
June 3
Gala Street Clean-up/10 am - 2pm
This will involve street clean-up and moving items. Wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty and comfortable shoes (no sandals).
