Keep Kids Active: Pre-School Playground Installation Prep (age 12+) Referral
An outdoor play space is vital for children to grow up healthy and strong. You can be a part of bringing our beautiful nature-scape playground to life by joining our work crew for an afternoon as part of a series of volunteer projects to help install our new Pre-School playground!
Come help us:

Dig and level the playground "cut outs"

Add gravel and woodchip fill

Create the foundation for adding boulders, tunnel, and logs for the playground
Come dressed for Portland spring weather, with work shoes and gloves if you have them. We'll provide tools, snacks, training, and an overview of the young lives you are touching through this project. And we'll send you pictures of the kids enjoying the playground once it's all done!
About the East Family Relief Nursery: East FRN is a prevention/intervention program that helps to stop the cycle of child abuse & neglect while also providing development assessments and a therapeutic nursery/preschool environment for children aged 2 ½ - 5 years. The program provides skills training, respite care, and home visits to assist families in re-establishing a safe, caring home environment.
Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 16 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
