Be A Kid Again! Summer Camp-style Event at Children's Museum (age 21+) Referral
Come and help raise money for the Portland Children's Museum! Do you like fundraisers? Do you like fun events? Do you like games, food and wine, and meeting new people in the community? But most importantly, do you like children and do or did you like going to summer camp? If so, this event is the event for you!
Just like last year, the Portland Children's Museum's "Be A Kid Again" fundraiser is "The Museum Goes to Camp!" We will be gathering together at the Portland Children's Museum to eat some delicious food, drink some wine, play some games and auction off some pretty fantastic items in order to raise money for the museum and all of the kiddos and families that love to come here. If you are passionate about children and inspiring imagination, art based education and fun family centered activities, we'd love for you to come and help support our cause, and have tons of fun doing it!
We have lots of fun volunteer roles and all of them are exciting, fast paced, and will hardly seem like work at all! All of the roles have shifts that range from 3 hours to 6 hours long so depending on your availability that evening, you will surely find a role that is the right fit for you! Just to name a few:
--Smores Fire Pit Attendant (yes, we will be making smores)
--Paintball Game Leader
--Wine Toss Game Leader
--Golden Ticket Sellers
--Set/Up and Clean Up Rockin Crew
--Boat Races Game Leader
--Auction Runner Volunteers
The event is Saturday May 11th from 6 pm - 10 pm. We will need lots of help cleaning up as well so if you're able to stay an extra hour after the event is over to help clean up, we'd REALLY appreciate it and there might be a treat in store for those that do!
If you are interested we would love your help! Again, can you think of a better way to spend a Saturday evening than helping raising money for kids by playing paintball and making smores?
