The Event date and time you are looking for is no longer available.

The mission of Project Homeless Connect is to bring communities together to create and promote tangible solutions that remedy the homelessness of their neighbors. The number of people experiencing extreme financial hardship and homelessness is growing in our community and thus, Project Homeless Connect is needed now more than ever.

Washington County PHC is moving into its 12th year and is an important strategy in the County’s 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness. It is a one-day, one-stop project held throughout the year, designed to connect individuals in need to services and supports. Washington County’s 2016 PHC events provided critical services and connections to over 600 individuals at our events. Seventy-five community partners and over 175 volunteers worked to provide services such as health and dental care, haircuts, food and clothing, and connections to needed housing and social services.

On Friday October 13, 2017, St Anthony’s Church will host the first PHC Tigard event. This event is a partnership with the Tigard Chamber of Commerce 2017 Leadership Class. The class participants are helping recruit needed professionals for the critical services offered. If you are a dentist, hair stylist, chiropractor, massage therapist, or have time and talent you are willing to donate we would love to work with you!

Volunteering at Project Homeless Connect - whether you sign up on your own or as part of a group of family, friends, or coworkers - is an opportunity to reach out and connect in a meaningful way with families in our community who are experiencing homelessness.

Join us for an inspiring day!

Volunteers will help in a variety of ways - with client support, assistance, and intake; food preparation and serving; leading and assisting activities; and more. Use the links below to sign up:
