Special Event Details
Washington County Project Employment Connect - Feb 2020
Dates: 2/21/2020 - 2/21/2020
Join us for an inspiring day!
Employment is cornerstone to becoming self-sufficient and escaping the cycle of homelessness. Without this vital life-sustaining resource, individuals cannot remain in housing and be self-sufficient members of our community.
Project Employment Connect will allow participants the chance to network, learn about a variety of industries, and explore various career and pre-career opportunities. During this one-day event on February 21, 2020, we will help folks get interview ready with haircuts, clothes, resume writing and interview skills training. The afternoon will host a job fair with over 20 employers.
Volunteering at Project Employment Connect - whether you sign up on your own or as part of a group of family, friends, or coworkers - is an opportunity to reach out and connect in a meaningful way with individuals who are seeking employment in our community.
Volunteer to make the event run smoothly!
Volunteers will help in a variety of ways - with client support, assistance, and intake; food preparation and serving; and more. Use the links below to sign up:
