Parke Diem 2014: Show Our Parks Some Love!

Parke Diem is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit-powered initiative for park-loving people and organizations to unite, achieve, and raise awareness of our park systems' needs.

On Friday, October 10th and Saturday, October 11th more than 30 groups will join together in celebration of parks, volunteerism, and the need to protect Portland's important park legacy. Together, we can create a new Portland tradition that recognizes the role citizens play in safeguarding and advocating for our parks legacy, and benefits those communities that help keep our park system strong.

Hands On is excited to partner with the Portland Parks Foundation to promote a selection of this year's 70 projects across 60 parks, gardens, and natural areas citywide:

Spruce Up Laurelhurst Park (age 13+)
