Work together filling food boxes that will be delivered to the doorsteps of local families in need.
About the Program
Since 1923, Sunshine Division has provided food, community, and hope to Portland families and individuals in need.
Through two free food markets and a robust home delivery program, we serve around 1,000 community members each week. Our goal is simple: to help our guests and clients put food on the table with dignity and less worry.
About the Project
Volunteers will work on an assembly line building, filling, taping and stacking food boxes for our weekly home delivery program. These boxes are delivered to the doorsteps of people with barriers to accessing our free food markets such as mobility or transportation challenges.
Be ready to move and enjoy teamwork with others!
Project Requirements
- Age: Volunteers must be 15+; under 12 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
- Dress code: Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes and socks..Notice
