Volunteer Opportunity
Join us for a late summer BBQ with adults experiencing homelessness. Help grill and serve food and play yard games with participants.
About the Program
Transition Projects works to engage folks at all levels of their journey from homelessness to housing. Whether it's getting critical support to our unhoused neighbors on the street, providing shelter for folks to reset and set their sights on housing, or bringing online innovative, deeply affordable housing solutions, we meet and support the many needs of the community we serve.
About the Project
BBQ at Tiny Pod Village. Volunteers will be asked to bring a food item and we’ll grill and play outdoor games with the residents.
All volunteers will be assigned a food item to bring (about $10-15). If cost is a hardship, please let us know. No volunteers will be turned away for inability to bring an item. However, once assigned a food item it's essential to attend the event or we won't have enough food for the residents.
Project Requirements
- Age: Volunteers must be 8+; under 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
- Dress code: Wear comfortable, casual outdoor clothes (pay attention to the weather).
