Volunteer Opportunity
Make a difference behind the scenes at the Habitat ReStore, where volunteers help keep donations moving from the community to the sales floor. Your support helps generate funding for Habitat for Humanity's affordable housing programs.
About the Program
The Habitat for Humanity Portland Region ReStores are home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home decor and garden supplies, appliances, building materials and so much more at discounted prices.
Proceeds generated from the ReStores support Habitat for Humanity homebuilding and home repair programs within Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties.
About the Project
Volunteer activities vary based on the store's daily needs and may include sorting and organizing merchandise, stocking shelves, creating displays, cleaning and preparing products for sale, helping maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment, or supporting other retail and warehouse operations. No previous retail or warehouse experience is required, and staff will provide guidance and training throughout your shift.
Join us at the ReStore and help turn donated goods into affordable homeownership opportunities for local families. Every item organized, stocked, and sold helps support Habitat's work of building stronger communities through affordable housing.
Wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing you won't mind getting dirty. Any Personal Protective Equipment required for the project will be provided by the ReStore.

Project Requirements
- Age: Volunteers must be 14+; under 16 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
- Dress code: Wear close-toed shoes and comfortable clothing you won't mind getting dirty.
- Waiver: In addition to that Hands On waiver, Habitat ReStore will ask you to sign their waiver ahead of the project at this link: Habitat Waiver
