Stewardship Day at Glendoveer (all ages) Referral
Help restore our habitat.
About the Program
Metro manages 20,000 acres of parks and natural areas, including 17 parks, 14 historic cemeteries and three boat ramps. By volunteering, you are helping steward these sites for generations to come.
Volunteers will learn about native plants, non native plant management, managing for nature in urban spaces, while building community.
About the Project
Join Metro Parks and Nature at the Glendoveer Nature Trail (use entrance at NE 148th and Halsey) as we tend to a nature patch along the trail, adjacent to the parking lot entrance. Participants will plant native plants and tend to the nature patch near the entrance of the parking lot on 148th and Halsey. All tools and supplies provided, in addition to some light refreshments.
