About the Project

Starting the first Wednesday in March, Garden of Weedin' volunteers will help maintain the planting beds in Parklane Park. Removing weeds, trimming plants, removing trash, and enhancing soil health. We will meet the first Wednesday of every month ending in October.

What to wear/bring: Closed toed shoes are required. It is recommended to bring a water bottle. Sunscreen in the summer, raingear in the fall. Tools and gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Volunteers will learn general weeds in Portland gardens. Proper pruning techniques. Community involvement and a shared love of parks and open spaces.
