Share Hot Meals Program Lunch (age 13+) *Impact Week*

Volunteer Opportunity

Feed our community by preparing and serving meals to guests at the Share Hot Meals Program.

About the Program

Share believes every person counts. Together we pursue a stronger community by building relationships, advocating for equitable access to housing and food stability while empowering every individual to grow and thrive.

Share serves individuals experiencing homelessness while also supporting those at risk of losing housing. We provide a comprehensive spectrum of services designed to meet clients where they are and support their progression toward stability and long-term housing.

Since 1979, with the support of our community and compassionate workforce, we've delivered services that include food access for individuals and families of all ages, operation of five emergency shelters, rental assistance, and individualized case management. Our outreach team actively engages individuals living unsheltered, ensuring connection and navigation to critical resources and services in the community.

About the Project

Share provides daily, free meals for the members of our community experiencing homelessness and low-income. Each month we serve over 12,000 meals. Much of the food used in the program is donated by area grocery stores and is prepared each day by volunteers and staff. Our team of Hot Meals Volunteers work in a commercial kitchen to assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning. Support the mission of Share and join us in serving meals to nourish our neighbors - because EVERY PERSON COUNTS!
