Kids! Create Love Letters For Seniors (age 1+) *MLK Weekend*

Bring the family out to craft for a good cause this MLK Weekend! This is a great way to spend a little time volunteering with your kids.
Create greeting cards to be given to seniors who receive Meals On Wheels through local Meals On Wheels centers, as well as through Lyft Urban Portland. We'll use markers, construction paper, glue, stickers, and other fun craft items to create cards that will brighten a senior’s day! Supplies will be provided. (We will have some pre-made cards for the very young kids to color in if they aren't ready to make cards from scratch).
Saturday's project take place in Beaverton and Sunday's project will take place in Portland.

Project Requirements:

Volunteers must be 1 year of age or older to attend this project; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Youth Volunteer Release Form signed by their parent or legal guardian. Please download, complete, and bring this waiver with you on the day of the project.

If you plan to bring children/additional volunteers you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project. Questions? Email teams@handsonportland.org
