Chelsea's Closet Costume Sort (age 18+) *MLK Weekend 2018*

Join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. King through meaningful service to our community: "Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve."
-- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

About:
Chelsea Hicks Foundation's Mission: "When serious illness impact a young person's childhood and a families well being, Chelsea Hicks Foundation's creative programs provide hope, support and opportunities to share special moments together to create memories to last a lifetime."

Project Description:
Chelsea's Closet, is a rolling, fun dress up closet that provides monthly therapeutic dress up parties for seriously ill children in our local NW hospitals. The children receive a costume and their choice of accessory which they get to keep after the event. It also includes a parade along with snacks and crafts in the playroom. Often this is what encourages the patient to get out of bed and lifts their spirits which can aid in their treatment.

This MLK Day, come out to our warehouse and help us organize and process costumes for our Chelsea's Closet program!

Wear comfortable shoes and warm clothes, as the warehouse atmosphere so chillier than a regular office. Bring a bag lunch to enjoy, as we'll be working through the lunch hour.

Important  Info:
Please wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes for a warehouse environment.
