Willamette River Clean Up (age 4+) *Stand Together Week 2018*

Help us protect your Willamette River at Kelley Point Park in North Portland. Volunteers will spend the afternoon removing trash to help clean up the sandy beaches and riparian forest of the Willamette River, Columbia River, and Columbia Slough at this unique urban publicly owned Natural Area.

About Willamette Riverkeeper:
Willamette Riverkeeper works to protect, restore, and connect people to the Willamette River. We believe that a river with good water quality and abundant natural habitat, safe for fishing and swimming is a basic public right. Our primary programs are: Clean Water, Habitat Restoration, River Discovery, and River Guardians. Throughout the Willamette Valley we offer monthly paddle trips, stewardship opportunities, and "Trashy Tuesday" clean up events. See our calendar of events for more opportunities to protect and restore your Willamette River at http://willamette-riverkeeper.org/event-calendar/.
