Your Love of Children Can Save a Life - Family Relief Nursery (age 16+) Referral
Resiliency research shows it only takes a bond with one adult outside their family for children to feel the positive effects for a lifetime. Enhance the well-being and development of young children by being a positive, stable, consistent adult in their lives.
Create positive role models for at risk children and families; maintain safety and a positive learning environment. Help progress a child’s development through play and interaction. Bring joy into a child’s day and your own while learning age-appropriate positive discipline techniques, early childhood development theory, and Montessori Method for small groups of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Help with meal clean-up, laundry, folding clothing, donations, etc.
Essential Qualifications:

Ability to model interactions of teachers.

Some lifting with children under 2 ½ years.

Must love children and be able to interact positively.

Choose from shifts Mon.–Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm.

We ask for a 6-month commitment of 2 hours per week or more.

Family Relief Nursery: Provides essential services for families including parent education, therapeutic classrooms, home visitation, and other wrap-around services as a part of our early childhood programming. We are a prevention and intervention program that provides essential services at no cost, helping families establish safe, stable home environments.
