Perishable Repack at Oregon Food Bank Beaverton (age 6+) *MLK Weekend 2020*

Join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. King through meaningful service to our community: "Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve."
-- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Eliminate hunger with the Oregon Food Bank at the West side location in Beaverton! Pack and sort donated food destined for agencies that directly serve low-income individuals and families throughout Oregon. Your presence makes a huge difference - plus it's a lot of fun!

Our group will be working in the perishable repack room, which is temperature controlled at about 50 degrees. Please dress appropriately for the temperature. Also, volunteers MUST wear closed toe/heel shoes or you will not be allowed to participate.

Parking is available on-site. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early in order to allow time for check in. For security reasons, the front doors will be locked 30 minutes after the start of the shift. If you are running late, call the Volunteer Leader listed in your confirmation email.

Take a minute to review the Oregon Food Bank Volunteer FAQ before you attend.

Court-Ordered Volunteers: You will need to contact Oregon Food Bank directly to determine whether you are eligible to volunteer. Please contact Jenifer Naas at volunteer@oregonfoodbank.org or 503.972.2993
