Health Clinic Volunteer (age 15+) Referral
At Boys & Girls Club of Portland Metro our mission is to empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to discover their full potential as caring, engaged, and responsible community members.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland is partnering with the Oregon Health Authority to bring health equity into the communities around our clubs by providing COVID vaccinations without any cost to families. Volunteers will help manage flow and execution of the event by assisting with the completion of forms with participants, and guiding drive through and walk up traffic through both lines to ensure a smooth execution of services.
This event will not be easy, but it will better the health outcomes for entire communities that are being hit hardest by pandemic. Come support our communities with us!
Dates are not concrete at this point in the planning process. The amount of planning required to organize sites, vaccines and vaccinators is large and is being tackled by a number of entities. As work with OHA and the County Authorities continues, we will update dates and send communications.
