Kids! Northwest Children's Outreach's Sorting Party! (age 10+)*Impact Week 2022*
About Northwest Children's Outreach:
We stand in the gap between poverty and caring agencies with resources to help children. NCO is a Christian nonprofit that functions as a collection and distribution center, collecting resources for these children and distributing the goods to local care providers who meet directly with and prescreen the children. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation.
VOLUNTEERING WITH US: Volunteers will receive a quick orientation on how to sort clothing, toys, books for distribution to local babies, children, and teens in the community.
Location information: Street parking only. Our entrance is in the alleyway at the sider of the building. It's right across from the bike rack at The Circuit Gym.
The building is not temperature controlled. Please dress accordingly. Masks are optional, but please feel free to wear one.
Please note, NCO does not sign for court ordered community service volunteers.
Project Requirements:

Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older to attend this project; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Youth Volunteer Release Form signed by their parent or legal guardian. Please download, complete, and bring this waiver with you on the day of the project.

If you plan to bring children or guests you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
