Hug A Park at Brown's Ferry Park (age 5+) *Impact Week 2022*

The City of Tualatin’s Volunteer Services Office is designed to enhance and augment the delivery of City services to the community. Volunteering is a way for people to participate in their local government and positively contribute to its effectiveness. Democracy is advanced through the active participation of residents, citizens, businesses, and service groups and we encourage community members to volunteer within all appropriate programs and activities of the City.
Brown's Ferry Park is Tualatin's largest nature park bordering the Tualatin River.
Join in on invasive ivy and blackberry removal along Nyberg Creek and among the trees to improve forest diversity and stream health.
Hug A Park events are a great way to explore a new park and make an impact on the environment.
Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get dirty. Long pants and long sleeves are recommended. Please bring a water bottle. Masks are optional.Tools, gloves, guidance and snacks will be provided.
Check in at the volunteer tent at the end of the parking lot.
