Blueberry Pie w/ NAYA (age 10+) *MLK 2012*
Do you like blueberry pies? Help NAYA plant an educational blueberry garden!
Volunteers will help plant blueberries at the Native American Youth And Family Center. The blueberry garden will create opportunities for education and intergenerational relationship building. NAYA elders will provide the long term care and cultivation of the blueberries and teach NAYA youth how to can, preserve, and bake with blueberries!
NAYA Family Center will supply the blueberry bushes and mulch. Volunteers will supply the human power.
Please wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty, sturdy shoes, and remember to dress for the weather!

Project Requirements:
- Please fill out this MLK Adult & Youth Waiver and bring it with you to the project. All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
- Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to attend this project.
- If you plan to bring children or guests you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
