The Good Neighbor Center is homeless shelter for families with children. We currently temporarily house nine families at one time. The Good Neighbor Center is dedicated to providing safe emergency housing and supportive services to empower individuals and families to be self-sufficient.
Since the fall season has started and with all the rain, we have been experiencing several issues with the roof. The gutters are full to the brim with leaves and debris. We are currently looking for individuals to come out and clean the moss off the roof and the clean gutters. Front and back sidewalks are in need of pressure washing. Items needed for project : pressure washer, gloves, scrub brushes, warm clothes, shoes with good traction.
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Snacks will be provided.Thanks in advance for your support!
Opportunity Requirements:
- Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
