Get Your Hands Dirty at Zenger Farm (age 8+) *STW 2012*
Come out and get your hands dirty at Zenger Farm! We're a nonprofit and working urban farm promoting: sustainable food practices, youth education, environmental stewardship, and community and economic development. Our Friday work parties are a great way to connect with other community members, spend some time outside, and get your hands dirty growing healthy food!
We'll be completing an assortment of tasks that will contribute to the maintenance of a working urban farm and youth garden. From 12:30-1:30, volunteers will have the option of taking a tour of the farm to learn more about its crops, bees, sustainable farmhouse, youth programs, and more! See you on the farm!
Note: Volunteers age 8-15 may volunteer along with a responsible adult.
Volunteers age 16+ are welcome to volunteer on their own.

2. Pay the registration fee - the Portland Timbers are asking supporters to join them in making a committment to support volunteerism throughout our region. Your registration fee will serve as a donation to Hands On Greater Portland to help cover the cost of organizing this week of service.
