Ivy Pulling Party at Tryon Creek Park (age 5+) *STW 2013*

Come join us for an active morning at Tryon Creek State Park!

We'll be assisting with invasive species removal in this wonderful urban protected nature area and enjoying one of Portland's forested gems.

The mission of Tryon Creek State Park is to conserve and enhance the natural resources, and promote the educational, interpretive and recreational programs of Tryon Creek State Park.

Please dress for the weather (long pants, sturdy shoes, and  work clothes are adviced) and bring your own water. Gloves and guidance will be provided. Parking is limited; carpooling and using public transit is encouraged!

All volunters are required to bring a complete release form. All adults 18+ sign the group form and each minor’s family fills out an individual minor form. Please visit http://www.tryonfriends.org/connect/volunteer/ to print the forms.

Note: Volunteers age 5-13 may volunteer along with a responsible adult.
Volunteers age 14+ are welcome to volunteer on their own.

• All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Hands On Youth Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.  (print it now, fill it out, and bring it with you to save time during project check in).

• If you plan to bring children/additional volunteers you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project. Questions? Email teams@handsonportland.org 
  
  IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
