L’Arche Portland’s Summer Block Party & Open House! (age 18+) Referral
L’Arche Portland is throwing a joyful summer celebration—and we’d love your help to make it shine! This Block Party & Open House is a chance to share all the exciting transformations happening at Neahkahnie House, from beautiful new hardwood floors to fresh paint, a new kitchen sink, and so much more—thanks to the support of wonderful foundations, generous community members and amazing volunteers!
We’re filling the day with all kinds of fun and need volunteers to help run the stations we will have set up.
-Hot dogs, cotton candy & popcorn machines
-Face painting & lawn games
-A picnic style food table (will need organizing day of)
-House tours of everything new (Staff will be in charge of this!)
We’re looking for volunteers to help make the magic happen. Your presence will help give our dedicated staff the chance to relax and enjoy the celebration with the people they serve so wholeheartedly.
The event will run from 3–6 PM on Saturday, June 21st, but we will need volunteers before and after the event to help with setup and breakdown.
Shift 1: 2–5 PM – Help with setup, run activity stations, then just enjoy the event from 5-6pm!
Shift 2: 4–7 PM – Enjoy the party first 3-4pm, then help with activity stations and cleanup!
Volunteers (you) will be part of the fun, and the food and treats are on us! :)
