Join the Young Professionals Board at Stone Soup PDX (age 21+) Referral
Stone Soup PDX's mission is building economic stability for people experiencing barriers to employment and nourishing Portland through culinary training and community meals.
The Young Professionals Board (YPB) is a dynamic group of emerging leaders who are passionate about food, social impact, and workforce development. YPB members play a key role in increasing the visibility of Stone Soup PDX and supporting its mission through fundraising, community engagement, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
-Fundraising & Event Planning: Plan and execute an annual fundraising event to support Stone Soup PDX’s programs and operations.
-Ambassadorship: Act as a vocal advocate for Stone Soup PDX, sharing its mission and impact within personal and professional networks.
-Networking & Community Engagement: Represent Stone Soup PDX at community events, networking functions, and outreach opportunities.
-Creative Fundraising & Sponsorship Development: Help secure sponsorships, in-kind donations, and partnerships to support the annual event and other initiatives.
-Board & Committee Participation: Attend monthly YPB meetings and actively participate in committee work related to fundraising, marketing, and event execution.
