Fall Farm Day (age 12+) *Impact Week 2025*

About the Program Our goals look to offer Pre-columbian food education and Implement indigenous knowledge-based sustainability practices.  We aim to support BIPOC farmers with marketing and sales and connecting latine community to care for the land and plants, and identifying food system barriers to families and improve access to health services.
About the Project Help us close out the season at our regenerative community farm! This October, we’ll gather to harvest the last of our summer crops, plant garlic for next year, and apply spent mushroom substrate to build healthy soil for the winter ahead. Learn how we care for the land through regenerative practices, get your hands in the dirt, and be part of a community effort to restore and renew the farm for seasons to come.
What to Bring

  • Sturdy shoes or boots – the field can be uneven or muddy.
  • Dress for the weather – layers are great! We’ll be working rain or shine.
  • Work gloves – we have extras, but feel free to bring your favorite pair.
  • Sunscreen & water – we’ll have both available, but it’s always good to come prepared.
  • Optional: Hat for sun protection, snacks, or any tools you like to use for weeding.

We’ll provide all the tools and materials, you just bring your energy and enthusiasm!
