Ahoy! Join the Crew of the West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta (age 11+) Referral
The West Coast Giant Pumpkin Regatta is one of the most unique fall Festivals in Oregon. Many volunteers will be needed to help with games and activities, face-painting, set-up and load out, and greeting folks who come from all over the region to watch a fleet of pumpkins paddled by costumed characters race across Tualatin Lake. Volunteers get t-shirts, snacks and plenty of guidance.
Since 2004 people from around the country have gathered to watch costumed characters paddle giant pumpkin boats in a series of races. The giant pumpkins are supplied by our friends from the Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers. We rely on volunteers to provide event support and bring the magic to our community events.
Volunteers will learn a lot about pumpkin buoyancy! They will participate in regional cultural traditions and witness the collaboration of organizations and businesses that come together to present an inclusive and welcoming regional event.

Shift times are from:
7:00am - 10:00am for Set Up
9:30am - 1:00pm
12:30 - 4:30pm
4:00pm - 6:pm for tear down

Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 11 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
