Tigard Free Food Market (age 15+) Referral
Join us at our monthly Tigard Free Food Markets! The Free Food Market is our food pantry event on the fourth Monday of each month where we provide food to community members in need each month. These events are free to the public and barrier free - which means we do not ask for participant info when they come to get food. The door opens at 1:30pm for community members to come in and receive food.
We need volunteers the day of event:
-We need 4 volunteers in the morning shift to help with processing the donated food, dividing the produces into small portions, setting them up on tables, event set up, etc.
-We need 5 volunteers in the afternoon shift to help with distributing food to community members, crowd control, event break down and clean up, etc.

Your support strengthens our impact, allowing us to better serve the community and make a meaningful difference.
Volunteers will gain knowledge about how ODHS helps community members in need and what they can do if they'd like to help at other food pantries in the area. They will also learn about day-of-event coordination skills.
Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 15 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
