Join us for our new monthly Service & Social Series—a perfect way to give back, meet new people, and grow your network in a fun, relaxed setting. (This month's project is all-ages)

Whether you’re new to Portland, looking to expand your professional circle, or just want to connect with like-minded people, this series is designed for you. Each month, we’ll combine meaningful volunteer work with a casual social gathering.
this month's Project
This month we will be partnering with Woodstock Elementary School to support their Earth Day School Clean-up / School Garden Work Party.
Volunteers will be needed to weed, spread bark mulch, plant, and other tasks to help maintain their natural spaces. In honor of Global Volunteer Month (yep, that's a thing) and Earth Day, this event is open to all.
Once we have helped get the school into shape, we will head over to nearby Heist Food Carts to share time together over rootbeer floats or an adult beverage (for those over 21), our treat!
Schedule:
- 12:00–2:00 PM | Service
Help Woodstock Elementary School with their garden and clean up the school grounds. 5601 SE 50th Ave, Portland, OR 97206
- 2:00–3:00 PM | Social
After volunteering, we will head over to the nearby Heist food carts for a chance to relax, mingle, and build connections while sipping on rootbeer floats or an adult beverage for those over 21. 4727 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97206
Project Requirements
- Age: Volunteers under 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
- Dress code: Closed‑toe shoes; comfortable attire suitable for light activity.
- Bringing friends? Reserve spots for them by creating a Volunteer Team and signing up your team for this project.
