Join us for our new monthly Service & Social Series—a perfect way to give back, meet new people, and grow your network in a fun, relaxed setting.

Whether you’re new to Portland, looking to expand your professional circle, or just want to connect with like-minded people, this series is designed for you. Each month, we’ll combine meaningful volunteer work with a casual social gathering.
this month's Project
This month we will be partnering with The Habitat for Humanity Portland ReStore. The mission of Habitat ReStore is to support Habitat for Humanity’s goal of building homes, communities, and hope by raising funds through the sale of donated goods while promoting sustainability and community engagement. As volunteers, we will support staff in all aspects of the store that may include:
- Receiving and processing donations
- Assembling and moving furniture
- Stocking shelves
- Landscaping and painting
- And more!
Schedule:
- 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM | Service
Work together at Habitat ReStore to support their operations and mission. 10445 SE Cherry Blossom Dr., Portland, OR 97216
- 4:00 PM- 5:00 PM | Social
Build a deeper connection with the group at a Happy Hour hosted by Hands On Greater Portland. We will head to the nearby McMenamins Mall 205 for drinks, apps. and conversation, 9710 SE Washington St, Portland, OR 97216
Project Requirements
- AGE: Volunteers must be 21+ to attend.
- LIABILITY FORM: Habitat ReStore requires that you also complete their waiver to particate. Details will be sent to you once you sign-up for this project.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This volunteer role operates in an open warehouse environment. This role is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The volunteer will frequently lift, move and/or load large furniture items.
