Through a partnership between two churches and Pacific University we provide temporary emergency shelter from mid-November until the beginning of March, averaging 16 weeks of the coldest in the year. Bringing more compassion, more justice, and more joy to each individual is at the heart of our shelter work. The United Church of Christ in Forest Grove opens their doors Mon and Tues nights and Emanuel Lutheran in Cornelius opens theirs on Wednesday and Thursday nights; guaranteeing 4 nights of shelter per week during our season. We provide dinner and breakfast for individuals and families. We also provide bus tickets, hygiene supplies, and warm clothing as available.
