Refugee & Immigrant Hospitality Organization (RIHO)
http://rihonw.orgRIHO, a project of East Portland Neighbors, exists to facilitate social connections and access to services for newcomers from all nations and backgrounds in the Gresham/East Portland area. We do this through "Welcome Centers" where refugees and immigrants can come, learn about community resources, gain a new skill and meet others. With a high emphasis on community building and relationships, we offer ESL classes with childcare and homework tutoring for school-aged children. We also manage a donation center where refugees and immigrants can receive furniture and other household items.
