Friends of the Tualatin Library
http://friendsoftualatinlibrary.org/Friends of the Tualatin Public Library is a member-supported nonprofit organization that advocates, fundraises, and provides support for the Tualatin Library. Through the years, the Friends have donated more than $100,000 to the library to assist with the purchase of materials and to support programs that would otherwise be out of reach with the normal library budget. Our main activities are selling books and other donated items which are donated by the library or by members of the public. We sell these items through twice yearly large sales, an ongoing sales shelf in the library, and through online channels such as Amazon and eBay. We then donate the proceeds of these sales to the library.
