Rhizome is a youth-led civic leadership organization dedicated to empowering young people to build a safer, happier, and healthier world. Our mission is to improve our communities, spread big ideas, and train emerging leaders to strengthen civic participation.
We equip high school students with relational organizing skills, supportive community, and the freedom to design and lead their own inclusive, nonviolent, and nonpartisan service projects based on the issues they care about most. Rhizome chapters create spaces for connection, bridge building, healing, and belonging. Our work helps young people become more joyful, confident, and purposeful leaders who make meaningful, locally grounded impact.
