UWCW Wildfire Response and Recovery Fund

For 100 years, United Way of the Columbia-Willamette (UWCW) has been working to meet the needs of vulnerable families in our region. No matter the crisis, we have always remained steadfast to our commitment to LIVE UNITED and take care of our community

UWCW has launched a Wildfire Response and Recovery Fund to support families impacted by the wildfires. We serve the Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties in Oregon and Clark County in SW Washington.

In crises like these, UWCW plays a critical role in prioritizing direct and unrestricted dollars to culturally specific and culturally responsive community based organizations so they can provide families of color and low income families with access to food, shelter, childcare, healthcare and other essential needs. We know that communities of color will often turn to organizations with which they already have trusted relationships. We’ve also heard from our partners during this time that they need funds for emergency assistance, transportation and clinical trauma informed intervention and support.

In addition to supporting immediate relief needs, UWCW is considering intermediate and longer term recovery needs.

Your support will help provide displaced families with much needed critical services. Thank you.

Give today to help families adversely affected by the wildfires.
