Kindness Farm Fall Farming Day (age 4+) *Impact Week*

Kindness Farm is an immigrant, refugee & queer led 501c3 educational urban farm in SE Portland. We teach children, youth, adults, and seniors how to grow their own food. We also donate everything we grow to our food insecure neighbors. In the last 2.5 years we've provided education to over 2000 individuals, donated produce for over 40,000 meals and produce boxes - all with 16,000 volunteer hours. We center working with historically underserved and underrepresented communities: immigrants & refugees, LGBTQIIA2S+, people with low-incomes, unsheltered people, BIPOC, people with disabilities, youth & seniors.

Kindness Farm is the place you didn't know you've been yearning for.
It's a magical haven in SE Portland where you can spend time in peaceful nature and be your true, authentic self.

When you step on this land you forget you're in the city, surrounded by trees, birds, goats, chickens, and endless plants and flowers.

It's a place to center and ground, connect to yourself and other beautiful humans, while doing really amazing work to support your community.

Volunteers will help prepare the farm for fall! We'll be weeding, wood chipping pathways, pruning, and more!

The work you will be doing is outdoors so please dress for the weather. Closed-toed shoes are required. Gloves will be provided, but bring your own if you have a favorite pair. Bring your own water bottle. Masks are optional, but please feel free to wear one.
