- Prepare a craft sample and provide materials and supplies for each class.

Time Commitment: monthly on the fourth Monday, 10:30am - 12:00pm

Our mission is to create a healthier, more inclusive, and deeply connected Portland where adults 55 and older thrive through innovative programming, compassionate support services, and person-centered care.

Volunteers in this role will build or enhance their leadership and facilitation skills. They will hone crafting abilities and build the confidence to share their creations with older adult participants. Volunteers may also gain a stronger understanding of disability self-advocates, aging, and the importance of social connection.

Opportunity Requirements:

  • Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
